1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User”, “Student”, “Founder”, or “you”) and Winroo (“Winroo”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By downloading, installing, registering with, accessing, or using the Winroo mobile application (available on Google Play Store and iOS App Store), our web portals, or participating in our accelerator cohorts, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must immediately cease using the platform.
2. Eligibility & Account Security
Winroo is tailored for university students, campus innovators, and startup founders. By creating an account:
- You confirm that you are at least 13 years old (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction) or have verifiable institutional/parental consent.
- You agree to provide true, accurate, and complete registration information, including your full name and valid contact details.
- Account Confidentiality: You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials. You may not sell, share, transfer, or allow others to use your account.
- Single Active Device Rule: To protect student accounts and copyrighted curriculum materials, accounts are restricted to one active learning session at a time. Signing in on a new device will sign out any active session on previous devices.
3. Accelerator Curriculum & Course Access
Winroo provides structured startup acceleration pathways, video lectures, venture frameworks, interactive tests, and mentor office hours.
- Access to specific courses or tracks may require institutional enrollment, invitation codes, or individual program registration.
- We reserve the right to update, refresh, or modify curriculum content, schedule live sessions, and introduce new learning modules to reflect modern venture building practices.
- Access granted to enrolled curriculum is personal, non-exclusive, revocable, and non-transferable.
4. Intellectual Property Rights
All platform software, interface designs, video lectures, educational frameworks, rubrics, graphics, and trademarks are the proprietary intellectual property of Winroo and its licensors.
Content Restrictions:
You agree not to copy, record, capture, reproduce, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works from Winroo course materials or video lectures without prior written consent from Winroo.
5. Founder Venture & Project Ownership
You own your startup. Winroo believes strongly in founder autonomy:
- You and your venture team retain 100% ownership of your business ideas, pitch decks, source code, inventions, and startup projects submitted through the platform.
- Submitting project materials grants Winroo a limited license solely to review, grade, mentor, and provide constructive evaluation for your venture.
- Winroo does not take equity simply by virtue of standard educational course enrollment, unless explicitly agreed upon in a separate, written investment syndicate agreement.
6. Acceptable Use & Code of Conduct
To maintain a collaborative, high-trust community for campus founders, you agree not to:
- Use the platform for any illegal purpose or in violation of local, national, or international regulations.
- Circumvent or attempt to disable security controls, screen protections, or device verification mechanisms.
- Use automated scripts, bots, scrapers, or crawlers to extract platform data or content.
- Harass, intimidate, defame, or abuse other students, mentors, campus coordinators, or Winroo staff.
- Engage in academic dishonesty, plagiarism, or sharing assessment answers.
7. AI Learning Assistant Guidelines
Winroo incorporates artificial intelligence features to assist students with course queries, venture brainstorming, and doubt resolution.
- The AI assistant is an educational aid. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated guidance should be critically reviewed by students and cross-referenced with mentors and foundational course material.
- Winroo is not liable for business or legal decisions made solely on AI outputs.
- Users must not use the AI assistant to generate malicious software, deceptive content, or academic fraud.
8. Assessments & Certifications
Winroo awards verifiable digital certificates upon satisfactory completion of courses and assessments.
- Certificates are issued in the name registered on the student's verified account.
- Winroo reserves the right to invalidate or revoke any credential found to have been obtained through cheating, identity misrepresentation, or policy violations.
- Certificates represent completion of Winroo accelerator milestones and do not represent accredited university degrees unless explicitly stated through partner institution co-certification.
9. Course Access, Pricing & GST
Certain specialized tracks, premium cohorts, or bundled accelerator modules may require paid enrollment.
